Facility Use/Rental

PMA utilizes the Schwartz Center for a vast array of public-facing performances, symposia, productions and curricular work throughout the year. Our complex calendar utilizes performance spaces and staffing resources to bolster the vision of PMA and support additional Arts & Sciences and University events.

  • Departments or student groups interested in hosting an event at the Schwartz Center in one of our four performances spaces (Kiplinger Theatre, Flex Theatre, Black Box, Dance Theatre) should note there is very limited availability to accommodate outside requests. We review requests on a semester basis. For the Fall semester, all requests must be submitted by April 1 of the previous Spring semester. For the Spring semester, all requests must be submitted by September 1 of the previous Fall semester. We apologize, but we cannot accommodate late requests. All requests for performance space must be submitted through the Department’s Request form, and not 25Live.

  • PMA makes rehearsal space available the Class of ’56 Dance Theatre for student dance groups each academic year. Student dance groups interested in applying for a PMA space grant must complete the application. Applications may be submitted each year between May 1 through July 31. Six awarded groups will be given up to four hours/week to rehearse, typically starting 2-3 weeks after the start of classes.

  • Requests for use of the Film Forum (SCPA B20) for film screenings or lectures/meetings should be requested through 25Live

Please note that no space reservations are made in June or July. We thank you for planning accordingly.
