What are some highlights of your involvement in PMA?
Acting in The Awakening of Spring and Tartuffe, stage managing The Caucasian Chalk Circle, being recognized in the Heermans-McCalmon ceremony, and seeing my play come to life in the 10-Minute Play Fest. The creative opportunities available in the department were so valuable and my Cornell experience wouldn't have been the same without them.
What are your favorite memories of PMA?
I met some of my best friends at Cornell through PMA! I'll never forget all the shenanigans in the Green Room, collaborating for hours on projects for David Feldshuh's directing class, crazy rehearsals for Festival 24, and celebrating at cast parties. Also, seeing myself in Sarah Bernstein's incredible costume for The Awakening of Spring for the first time...wow.
Thank-Yous
I'd like to thank Lindsey White for taking a chance by hiring me when I was a freshman! Working as a communications assistant exposed me to facets of the department that I otherwise would not have explored. Lindsey really helped me cultivate the skills I need to continue pursuing a career in arts administration.
Parting Words
I can't wait until it's safe to come back to campus to celebrate the Class of 2020. The Schwartz will definitely be one of the first places I visit!
