Cornell in Hollywood

The Cornell Club of Los Angeles maintains an extensive network of alumni who offer hands-on internships in the Hollywood area. Their internship program, now in its eighth year, has placed 135 students with over 40 Los Angeles companies.

The Department of Performing and Media Arts works closely with the Cornell Club of Los Angeles to connect students to the club's Cornell in Hollywood Program. While the program is administered by the Los Angeles group, Cornell faculty work closely with students to advise them.

The CIH Internship Program offers part-time and full-time internships, as well as a series of seminars and events. Students need to apply online, submitting an application, letters of recommendation, resume, and personal statement. Matches are made in the spring.

Company hosts change each year, but past hosts have included The Ant Farm, Beck Media, DreamWorks, and Liz Allen. Selected interns may be eligible to receive financial support for travel and housing through the department's PMA Internship Program.
