Transcript of Cornell Cinema video

Greetings from Cornell Cinema

Did you know that Cornell Cinema is one of the longest-running campus film exhibition programs in the country and considered one of the best?

This Fall we’ll return to in-person screenings in the historic Willard Straight Theatre on central campus, across from the Campus Store.

If you’ve never been to the theatre, you’re in for a treat, as it’s beautiful!

Wow!

We'll follow all COVID-19 public health guidance & adhere to all CU policies to keep everyone safe.

So as of now, all patrons will need to wear a mask.

We screen films 5 – 7 nights a week during the academic year and offer the BEST projection in town, on a HUGE screen!

We even show some films with classic reel-to-reel projectors …

and others utilizing our high-quality digital & digital 3D systems.

We’ll be showing over 75 different films this Fall, and another 75 in the Spring.

In addition to recent popular hits like Cruella, Summer of Soul, A Quiet Place Part II, In the Heights, The Green Knight, Black Widow and more…

… we show Classic Foreign & Hollywood Films, Cult Favorites, Documentaries, World Cinema, Indie Hits and Films with Live Music!

We also host filmmakers, organize faculty introductions & panel discussions.

We’re welcoming back ALL Cornell students by offering FREE screenings from August 24 – 31…

After that, patrons can purchase one of our low-cost ALL-ACCESS PASSES to continue seeing films for practically nothing!

Yay!

Undergrads pay just $20 to see ALL regularly-priced screenings for the ENTIRE SEMESTER (remember: that’s 75 films)!

Single ticket price for undergraduates is $7, so buying an ALL-ACCESS PASS is the way to go.

Stay on top of all our offerings by signing up for our WEEKLY E-BLAST on our HOMEPAGE.
