Alumnus Dr. Joshua Bastian Cole-Kurz was recently interviewed by Them Magazine about material from his dissertation and book project. He was included as a trans studies and history scholar on the cultural significance of prosthetic objects known as “packers” within trans masculine communities.
Dr. Cole-Kurz earned his Ph D. in December 2022 in the Department of Performing and Media Arts (PMA) and currently teaching First-Year Writing Seminar (FWS) courses "Utopias" and "Wonderlands and Other Worlds" as a visiting lecturer at the Knight Institute, Cornell University.
