Cornell Department of senior lecturer Ed Intemann and professor Kent Goetz have been nominated by the Syracuse New Times for Syracuse Area Live Theatre (SALT) awards. The SALT academy recognized Intemann’s lighting design for The Cherry Artspace’s world-premiere production of WHAT HAPPENS NEXT by Saviana Stanescu, directed by Samuel Buggeln, as well as Goetz’s work on set design for FORTUNE by Deborah Zoe Laufer at the Hangar Theatre.
The SALT Awards, now in their fourteenth year, honor performances and behind-the-scenes work by area professional, regional, and community theater companies. Winners will be announced during a ceremony held Sunday, November 11, 6:30 p.m., at the Redhouse Arts Center, 400 S. Salina St. in Syracuse.
