An original play by Owen Reynolds ’25
Saving for 17 is a 30-minute, semi-autobiographical, tragicomedy play about a family’s experiences during Hurricane Irma in Miami and the Florida Keys in 2017. The play explores the journey that a teenager endures surrounding his cancelled birthday, learning how to love himself and to become comfortable being alone at a young age.
