Join the Department of Performing and Media Arts for Professional Directions: Q&A with Filmmaker Will Gluck on Wednesday, October 9, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, in the Film Forum, Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts. The event will be hosted by PMA Visiting Assistant Professor of Screenwriting, Juanie Fowlkes.
Will Gluck will join PMA to chat with students about his start in the TV business, how to write an undeniable script and how to get started in the industry. This will be followed by a moderated Q&A about his career and life as a writer and producer, focusing on works like Anyone But You, Friends with Benefits, Woke, and other films. Seats are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is free and open to the public.

Will Gluck is a Golden Globe-nominated writer, director, and producer known for Easy A, Friends with Benefits, Annie, the Peter Rabbit franchise, and a number of TV shows including ENCORE! , Chicago Party Aunt, Sneakerheads, Woke, The Michael J. Fox Show and more. This past year, Will made the smash-hit romcom Anyone But You for Sony starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell, which grossed over $250 million worldwide. His production company Olive Bridge Entertainment is currently developing multiple film and TV projects at Columbia, Netflix, Disney, Tristar, and Sony Pictures Animation.
