PMA Professor Bruce Levitt who serves as Lead Facilitator of the Phoenix Players Theatre Group, invites the community to attend two special events on Sunday, August 23.
The first event will feature a live presentation of the 100 Years Podcast at Cinemapolis in Ithaca at 2:30 p.m. by Podcast participants Michael Rynes, Robert Lawrence Julien, Efrain Diaz, and Demetrius Molina. Learn more about the podcast at: https://www.instagram.com/one_hundred_years_podcast/
Later that evening, at 7 p.m., the Auburn Public Theater will host a screening of Human Again, the acclaimed 2016 documentary that tells the story of the founding members of the Phoenix Players. The 60-minute film offers an inspiring look at the group's impact through theater, community engagement, and personal transformation. Community members are encouraged to attend one or both events and support the ongoing work of the Phoenix Players Theatre Group. These events are made possible (in part or in full) with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, administered by the Community Arts Partnership.
