PMA Graduate Alum Emily Roxworthy Appointed as Dean of USC School of Dramatic Arts

The University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts has announced the appointment of Emily Roxworthy as its next dean, beginning this July. Roxworthy received her MA in theatre arts from Cornell in 2000. 

Roxworthy is currently associate dean of the Graduate Division at the University of California, San Diego, has led UCSD’s joint doctoral program with the University of California, Irvine, in theater and drama and was vice chair of the UCSD Department of Theatre and Dance. Prior to her current role, Roxworthy spent four years as provost of UCSD’s Earl Warren College and served as Interim Associate Vice Chancellor of Faculty Diversity and Equity for a period in 2016.

She founded and is the artistic director of Workplace Interactive Theatre, a company that performs diversity training workshops for organizations.
