Yale University announced Cornell University graduate Paula Vogel MA '76, PhD '16, as a recipient of a 2020 honorary Doctor of Letters degree. Yale's honorary degrees "signal pioneering achievement in a field or conspicuous and exemplary contribution to the common good."
