The Video Production Assistant (VPA) is focused on assisting PMA's marketing and communications video productions in all aspects of preproduction, including attending production meetings, background research, casting, location scouting, planning, and scheduling shoots and video shoot preparation.
The VPA will assist in prepping production equipment, loading and transporting equipment to locations (sometimes outside normal business hours), setting up equipment, operating equipment (camera, lights, audio), returning equipment and transferring media.
The VPA will also assist video editor as needed for post-production, setting up and organizing video editing project files, transferring and logging media, making "selects", music research, media management, exporting final project files and distributing final project files to communications platforms.
PMA Communications staff will provide training to the VPA on all aspects of production.
