Mariela Ferrer Zequeria '12 recently featured in ICG Magazine

ICG Magazine recently interviewed Mariela Ferrer Zequeria '12 about her journey as a Camera Assistant. In the interview, she states, "When I was at Cornell, I majored in film [and Italian]. That's where my interest in the film industry took off." Ferrer Zequeira is a San Juan, Puerto Rico native, and after being at Cornell, her passion blossomed into several notable projects and accomplishments. She has worked as a camera assistant for many popular shows such as season one of American Vandal, drama series Sorry for Your Loss, and her current project, the 15-time Emmy-nominated HBO series Hacks.

Adam Bricker, a director of photography who has collaborated with Ferrer Zequeira on many of her projects, states, "Not only is Mariela extremely hardworking, but she brings a great energy to set every day," he shares. "It's been wonderful to see her grow into an important leader on the team." Ferrer Zequeira has a special talent for photography, and it reflects through her stunning shots.
