Lectures/film screenings with filmmakers from The Memory Project, Caochangdi Workstation

Today marks the start of three days of events with filmmakers from The Memory Project, Caochangdi Workstation, in Beijing. Please join Wenguang Wu & Mengqi Zhang on Monday, November 7, from 4:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m. as they discuss "Knocking on Memory's Door with a Video Camera" in Kaufmann Auditorium, G64, Goldwin Smith Hall: https://www.facebook.com/events/616125425243966/

Led by Wu, one of the founding figures of Chinese independent documentary film, the project is based at Coachangdi Workstation in Beijing. The Memory Project encourages amateur filmmakers to investigate the hidden histories of their home villages.
