Research Talk by Dr. Kristen Warner
The Department of will host Dr. Kristen Warner, associate professor at the College of Communication & Information Sciences at the University of Alabama, for a talk titled Plastic, Plastic Everywhere: Locating Cultural Specificity in the Time of Plastic Representation, on February 23, 2022, at 4:30 p.m.
Dr. Warner’s research areas include race and representation, media industries, film and television, labor, and employment. She is the author of The Cultural Politics of Colorblind Casting.
