In part with the 13th edition of Dance Italia, Assistant Professor of the Practice Danielle Russo led PLACE/MAKING, a site-specific choreography and performance workshop for 12 international dancers culminating in a public activation in the infamous Fiume Serchio in Lucca, Italy. Dance Italia was founded by Cornell alum, Stefanie Nelson, and PLACE/MAKING included current PMA Dance Minor, Molly Hudson.
Russo also performed the first of a brand-new series of solo studies in the historic Piazza San Michele and is continuing her fieldwork in Leonforte before returning stateside this week.
