The Cornell Club of Los Angeles maintains an extensive network of alumni who offer hands-on internships in the Hollywood area. Their internship program has placed 135 students with over 40 Los Angeles companies. The Department of Performing and Media Arts works closely with the Cornell Club of Los Angeles to connect students to the club's Cornell in Hollywood Program. While the program is administered by the Los Angeles group, Cornell faculty work closely with students to advise them.
The CIH Internship Program refers students to hand-selected part-time and full-time internships, and offers a series of seminars and events. Students submit an application, letters of recommendation, resume, and personal statement. Selected applications are subject to approval by the company offering the internship.
