Assistant Professor Jason Simms has been nominated for 5 regional BroadwayWorld Awards for his set designs in 2023. Nominated projects include: The SMILE OF HER (Berkshire Theatre Group), THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (George St. Playhouse), A LEG UP and CABARET (Bristol Riverside Theatre), and MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS (Pioneer Theatre Company).
The 2023 Regional Awards celebrate performances between Oct 1, 2022, and Sep 30, 2023. Editors set categories, readers nominated. The awards are voted on by the public. Winners will be revealed in January. The BroadwayWorld Regional Awards doubled their nominees this year, encompassing 100+ cities across the Americas, Europe, and Asia for an even grander celebration.
Voting for the awards is open through December 31st.
