Overview
Kirstin Taylor is a Ph.D. student from Murfreesboro, TN. Her broad research interests include television industry and political economy, identity/representation, and examining their intersection through a Black feminist lens. Specifically, her prior research has focused on contemporary broadcast television's illustrations of Black femininity, the voices responsible for their creation, and the industrial context surrounding them.
Kirstin holds a B.S. (2020) from Vanderbilt University and an M.A. (2023) from Colorado State University.
