YoGay Yoga with Adam Ayers, May 7

Adam Ayers of YoGay Yoga will lead a free, special event yoga session. All levels, beginners to longtime practitioners, are welcome.

Presented by the Cornell Department of  and co-sponsored by LGBTQ Resource Center.

About YoGay Yoga: YoGay Yoga is an inclusive and diverse queer community coming together to study and practice yoga. Our classes are educational workshop-orientated, emphasizing anatomy and kinesiology as it relates to functional movement and yoga postures. All ages, body types, and fitness levels are welcome. Classes are supportive, nurturing, and celebratory, emphasizing togetherness and playfulness.

About Adam: Adam William Ayers, E-RYT is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with the National Yoga Alliance and a Certified Relax and Renew Trainer™. He began teaching yoga in 2001 shortly after his introduction to the practice at age 19. Since then Adam has taught throughout the United States in various venues, from well-appointed spas, corporate settings, AIDS organizations, and teacher trainings.  

A Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Personal Trainer, Adam offers an integrative and accessible approach to postural alignment as it pertains to the practice of yoga, meditation, and rest. He continues his studies as a dedicated student of Francois Raoult and Judith Hanson Lasater, PhD, PT.
