Composer David Lawrence, best known for his contributions to the High School Musical Trology, will visit the Schwartz Center Friday, April 29.

Lawrence will participate in a Q&A with interested students about writing music for film and television from 3-4pm in the Film Forum of the Schwartz Center.

Lawrence is a Film and Television Composer and Songwriter/Producer whose scores and songs can heard in the American Pie series, Jericho (cult hit for CBS), Muppet Classic Theatre (Frank Oz), the High School Musical trilogy (Platinum record), Disney’s Descendants and the upcoming HBO Mike Nichols documentary. He has been commissioned to write two ballets for Barak Ballet, and composed the music for the Lake of Dreams Orb Show at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.

He a graduate of the Mannes Conservatory of Music.
