At the start of each semester, students in the Cornell University Department of gather for a frantic but fun 24 hours, during which they produce a theatre festival from scratch. Although Festival24 is typically performed in person, producer Arin Sheehan ’22 and technical director Will Aubrecht ’21, along with assistant producers Andrew Aman ‘23 and Taylor Bazos ‘23, and assistant technical director James Tallman ’23, will help bring the festival to a digital platform once again.
The Spring 20221 Festival24 will stream live on February 13 at 7:30 p.m. on Cornell PMA's YouTube channel. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Festival24 team previously produced a special edition Festival24.0 during the Spring 2020 semester when in-person theatre experiences were canceled, as well as brought the regularly scheduled Fall 2020 Festival24 online.
Participation in Festival24 is open to any interested Cornell student, regardless of previous experience. Students who wish to participate should email Festival24@cornell.edu.
