Caochangdi Workstation is a small community of artists in Beijing created in 2005 by Wu Wenguang, one of the founding figures of independent documentary in China and whose work is internationally acclaimed. The group of five artists, filmmakers and choreographers, will offer their dance/theater/multi-media performance to ourcommunity, and collaborate with our students in film, dance, theater, and design to create a production that is culturally-inflected and reflects the social and sensorial dimensions of performance across the globe.
