Staff and students in Cornell's newly-named Department of Performing and Media Arts have created an entertaining, intriguing and invigorating set of performances and events for next year's calendar, including a mixture of musicals, new work, film screenings, and dance festivals.
The new department name reflects a new model for the department and the new Performing and Media Arts major, which challenges students to broaden their experiences in the disciplines and benefit from the synergies between the study and practice of dance and movement, live theatre, and media arts.
